Welcome Jesus.
Welcome Real Life.

Bible studies, prayers, and simple practices for moms who want to meet God right where they are.

Motherhood is hard. We know.

And Jesus is good in the midst of it. We promise.

He meets us in every moment and doesn’t leave us to do this alone. He gives us himself, and he gives us each other.

Here, you’ll find stories of moms who get real about motherhood, encounter Jesus in community, and experience the transforming love of the Holy Spirit. You’ll also find music, art, prayers, and excerpts from the books we write about spiritual formation for moms.

Moms on the Way

Moms are always “on the way,” sometimes moving so fast we forget where we’re headed or why we’re headed there. This seven-week Bible study offers a rest stop - a place for moms to gather, tell the truth about their motherhood journey, and experience Jesus and his transforming power.

Meet Kathy and Tara

We’re wives, moms, friends, and writing partners. With doctorates in Human Development, you might think mothering would have come easily. It didn’t. Our degrees didn’t carry us through motherhood. Our friends did.

We’ve been part of a weekly prayer group since 2004, and since 2020, a Monday-Friday, book club and Bible study that meets on video call from 7:30-8 a.m. These are the women who dare to believe God is working when it’s hard to see, love each other’s kids when their momma can’t stand them, and show up with chocolate, caffeine, and just the right amount of inappropriate humor.

That’s why we wrote our books - for moms to find some of what sustained us through decades of motherhood - faith and friends.
