Week 6

When We’re Grasping For Control

If only we could control our children! And yet, one of the best mothers in the Bible spent the entirety of motherhood learning to release her son, Jesus, into the Father’s hands. This week, as we study Mary, moms will have the chance to:

  • identify and share with God the many, many ways we attempt to control our children

  • debunk the lies of Satan that cause us to grasp desperately for control

  • learn to combat those lies by trusting in God’s promises found in Psalm 23

  • become an agent of shalom by standing in solidarity with those who suffer
